Call of the Blue Ridge
(Pattern in magazine only)

By Dorothy Showalter, Sew Classic Fabrics
Dot grew up in a quilting and sewing family. Her grandmother pieced quilts for her children, which her mom then quilted by hand with help from her daughters and friends. Dot sewed doll dresses, her own dresses, and made quilts early on. Thirteen years ago, she and her daughter, Mandie opened Sew Classic Fabrics, inspired by a local need for more fabric. Over time, her love and passion for quilting grew, and she designed several quilts. Dot fell in love with the All Blue Ridge Shop Hop fabric and knew she wanted to make something with it: a king-size quilt for their bed!
